You can also use the 3000 minutes and 3000 SMS to make calls and send SMS between the EU countries listed except for the UK. For example, you can call a German phone number from France, you can call a Greek phone number from Romania etc. However, if you are in the UK you cannot make any international calls from the 3000 minutes or send international SMS. Although, you can still call and SMS to standard UK phone numbers from the listed countries. For example, if you are in Germany or France you can still call UK based phone numbers. If you wish to call any other international countries outside the EU such as Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, UK, USA etc, you will need to use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc . You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobile at the apps rates.

Whilst in the UK, the included 3000 minutes and 3000 SMS can only be made to standard UK landline numbers (for the UK starting 01, 02, 03) and mobiles within the UK. Calls to other numbers including Premium rate, Business rate numbers and non-UK numbers are not included.

This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel. For example, if you are going for 50 days, then look to purchase 2 x 30 day sims to cover your duration.

You can call 333 from this sim at anytime and follow the prompts to check your "remaining allowances". Or if 333 does not work, you can dial +44 7782 333 333 as an alternative.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above.

You need to include the country calling code prior to the phone number and drop the leading 0 if you wish to call or SMS. For example if you wish to call a number in Spain whose phone number is 08123456123 you would need to dial +348123456123.

We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a sim card. 

If your friends and family have have purchase the same sim card then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc .

You simply need to have both MOBILE DATA and DATA ROAMING functions ENABLED/TURNED ON in your phone to use the service. As mentioned previously, the 30 days of service itself commences as soon as you decide to insert the sim in your phone and turn your phone.

The mobile data APN settings should automatically update when you insert the sim card in you phone. If it does not, you need to update the settings so it states the following;

APN: three.co.uk

None of the other mobile data APN fields, need to be changed or adjusted, only the above.

The features on the sim card are valid for 30 days from activation.

This sim cannot be recharged, if you are travelling for longer than 30 days, we advise that you purchase additional sim cards based on the duration of your travel. For example, if you are going for 50 days, then look to purchase 2 x 30 day sims to cover your duration. However, please note you will have a different phone number for each sim.

Who can I call call and SMS?

The 3000 minutes and 3000 SMS can be used to make local calls to standard landlines and mobiles and SMS within all the EU countries listed in the "Countries Coverage" section.  

For example, if you are in Spain you can call Spanish phone numbers. If you are in Italy you can call Italian phone numbers,etc.

You can also use the 3000 minutes and 3000 SMS to make calls and send SMS between the EU countries listed except for the UK. For example, you can call a German phone number from France, you can call a Greek phone number from Romania etc. However, if you are in the UK you cannot make any international calls from the 3000 minutes or send international SMS. Although, you can still call and SMS TO standard UK phone numbers from the listed countries. For example, if you are in Germany or France you can still call UK based phone numbers. Please see below for more on calling within the UK.

How can I call and SMS within EU?

You need to include the country calling code prior to the phone number and drop the leading 0 if you wish to call or SMS. For example if you wish to call a number in Spain whose phone number is 08123456123 you would need to dial +348123456123.

Calling within the UK?

Whilst in the UK, the included 3000 minutes and 3000 SMS can only be made to standard UK landline numbers (for the UK starting 01, 02, 03) and mobiles within the UK. Calls to other numbers including Premium rate, Business rate numbers and non-UK numbers are not included. 

How can I call and SMS outside of the EU?

If you wish to call any other international countries outside the EU such as Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, UK, USA etc, you will need to use data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc . You are also able to add credit to your Viber or Skype account, which will allow you to make Local and International phone calls directly to landlines and mobiles at the apps rates.

If someone wishes to call you on your UK number they would need to drop the leading 0 and add the UK calling code of +44 regardless of which country you are in.

For example, if the phone number noted on the pack is 07307452691, they would need to dial +447307452691. (To get the + on a mobile phone, press and hold 0 until it turns into a +)

Please Note: If someone from outside of the UK wishes to call or SMS you directly they would be charged at international rates to a UK number. Some of your family and friends may have international calling as part of their phone plans to UK numbers, but others may not be able to make direct international calls or sms.

We recommend that you stay in touch with your family and friends by sending them messages and calling them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Snapchat, Messenger, Skype, iMessage etc.

Yes you are able to call and text your partner if you both purchase a sim card. 

If your friends and family have have purchase the same sim card then you will be able to call them directly. However, if your friends and family are using their home phone service, then you will need to connect them via data based apps such as Whatsapp, Viber, Skype, Messenger, etc .

If you are travelling to different countries that are noted on the "Countries Coverage" section, then all you need to do is restart your phone as you move from one country to another. The sim card will automatically connect to a local carrier.

Yes, you will have access to all your apps, messages, contacts and emails whilst using this sim card. Nothing on your phone is deleted or changed and you can continue to use your phone as per normal. The only change with using this sim card is that you will have a new phone number.
